Cyndi Burruss

Director

Cyndi Burruss is a dedicated professional with a rich academic background and a heartfelt commitment to her career and family.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cyndi is a loving mother to three children. Her family expanded through adoption, welcoming Grant and Will from Albania and Alyce from Guatemala. Her devotion to her children and family is central to her life.

For the past two decades, Cyndi has made significant strides in the real estate industry, serving the Northern Virginia community with expertise and dedication. Her commitment to her clients and work has earned her respect and admiration.

However, Cyndi has also faced profound personal challenges. She courageously embarked on a journey towards sobriety and has been alcohol-free for nine years. Her resilience in overcoming this struggle showcases her strength and determination.

Tragically, Cyndi experienced the devastating loss of her son, Will, who passed away at the age of 22 due to a fatal mistake—taking what he believed was a Xanax but was pure fentanyl. Will had grappled with drug use for over eight years and was living in an Oxford House, a sober living facility in Vienna, VA, at the time of his passing.

Amidst these trials, Cyndi remains a pillar of strength and resilience. Currently residing in Ashburn, VA, she continues to navigate life with grit, embracing her family and career while wanting to advocate for awareness and change regarding substance abuse and addiction.
