Arise and Flourish, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that seeks to educate and raise awareness about the alcohol and drug addiction epidemic that is spreading throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. We work in partnership with like-minded organizations and individuals to share ideas and information concerning the critical social needs created by substance use and dependency in our community. We advance specific solutions through prevention, education, fundraising, and awareness-creating activities.
Through the schools and community, we bring real life stories to our youth showing the devastation of the disease of addiction. By emphasizing the importance of understanding the cycle of addiction, we will arm our youth with the knowledge of the dangers associated with drug and alcohol use, how to prevent addiction, and how to seek help.
Arise and Flourish is committed to serving the youth by providing education and knowledge that empowers them to avoid the cycle of addiction while providing resources to help and support a positive and healthy life style.
